Challenge
The wine and delicatessen wholesaler Barrique from Groß-Lobke was looking for a simple, easy to use cash register system with integrated merchandise management.
As a branch operation, the individual locations were to be centrally controlled and the cash register system was to be franchise able.
For the wine trade, the mapping of additional functionalities was desired as well as the quick availability of additional information for the selected wine at the cash register.
Solution
At Barrique, the decision was made to use the Retail Management System from Microsoft. A system that can be controlled centrally and is able to distinguish between local and global articles as well as map various containers and discount types. The integrated merchandise management system provides up-to-date inventory data and enables efficient replenishment of the articles.
RMS is characterised by low running costs with a very high performance. The system is quick and easy to learn and flexible to adapt.
