Challenge
The Ahoi Steffen Henssler opened its doors in Hamburg in 2017. By mid-2022, despite the pandemic, six new restaurants had been opened, managed by Henssler himself or together with new franchisees. In order to offer the best operational solution and the most efficient workflow in daily business to the owner-operators and the franchisees, all IT systems had to be examined. If you want to grow, you need a system and not empty promises.
All software and hardware solutions around cash register, merchandise, personnel, reservation system and business intelligence have been reflected upon, re-evaluated, exchanged, tested and now introduced within the last few months. The possibility of networking with other systems via open interfaces was always important.
Solution
The Ahoi Group used to have different cash register systems in the branches. For the future, they have decided on a uniform cash register system: unTill®
The hardware offered is robust, the software complex enough for the processes of a full-service restaurant and at the same time user-friendly for the administration and the service staff. The data can be docked to other systems, ensuring easier scaling for the future. In unTill® , there are already fully integrated third-party applications for mobile ordering and payment, e-commerce, staff scheduling and more, which can be easily implemented as needed. The central control system of unTill® is cloud and browser based and offers everything to control the branches centrally, quickly and easily.
