Van der Valk Hotels & Restaurants is one of the largest Dutch hotel chains with a total of 93 hotels, 14 of which are located in Germany.

The individual hotels in Germany have been working with the hospitality POS system unTill^®® for several years, yet without the use of a central solution. Various ways of working and far apart hotel complexes plus small autonomous units that develop over years resulted in lack of comparability. There was also no central control or efficient purchasing solution.

The basic prerequisite for central control and comparability is a central article master. The core article master forms the common denominator. Products that are sold regionally are added individually per house.

The article master is the basis for the web management of unTill^® (central store control). Depending on the hotel, you can assign articles and manage price lists. Changes can be made remotely and quickly. KPIs can be defined and compared. New processes such as the kitchen monitor can be easily implemented.
