Challenge
Change is a lingerie company based in Denmark that manages the entire life cycle of an article from production to sales. The process from the production in mainly Asian region to the sales in more than 200 branches in over ten countries worldwide was meant to be mapped in one system.
The company also wanted to use the system to manage its supply chains and ensure the availability of replenishments. Omnichannel scenarios between online shop and stationary retail were to enable customers to have a simplified shopping experience. The aim was to unify their shopping experience whether via eCommerce or physical store.
Solution
Efficient and flexibly adaptable processes in the head office and individual consultation with the help of the IT system were the main focus when selecting a new ERP and POS system. The introduction of Dynamics AX 2012 R3 including POS brought this comprehensive, individual and global view.
MS POS implemented a lean version of AX Modern POS for the cash register.
The shop assistant together with a costumer could pick the product directly at the tablet. Real-time information on all stock levels was invaluable as well as the implementation of the omnichannel approach: Store, eCommerce, Click and Collect, Store Transfer etc.
