Regionality and sustainability are the focus of the Landwirtschaft restaurant in Willich-Schiefbahn. With seasonal cuisine - fresh, creative and full of ideas - owner Anja Heyes-Hengsler and her team have managed winning several prizes and awards, making quite a name for themselves in quality and overall restaurant experience in the gastronomy area.

Since opening in 2012, the Landwirtschaft restaurant had been working with the same cash register system until the provider announced at the end of 2022 that it was withdrawing from the market. A quick and needed system change was therefore unavoidable. In search for a suitable solution, the most obvious choice fell on our cash register system unTill^®.

For the restaurant manager, it was particularly important having the option to split invoices with different payment methods and that the invoice amount is displayed uniformly on the receipts. The cost factor also had to be considered, since with the previous POS system, monthly fees were incurred and had been periodically during the past 10 years.

Equipped with a new cash register, two new printers for the counter and kitchen powered by our system unTill^® , the system changeover was completed quickly within three weeks.

Whereas guests used to have queries about the receipts, the fiscalisation information is now printed uniformly via a QR code. Even billing separate receipts with different payment methods is no longer a challenge in the daily business anymore, now is a standardised process within unTill^® .

Moreover, by purchasing the hardware and the licence once, everything was paid for; there will be no extended monthly costs in the future. Furthermore, if needed potential extensions with mobile terminals for order taking and billing are possible at any time.
